Why I'm Banned ?

I've spoken against spam ban as it is in it's current state if you would, you'd see that this really isn't too much text in a game, where the chat doesn't cover your full screen.

I am quite seen enough of the players coming into the game to talk, not to play. it is very annoying, because when a chat is constantly clogged by such talk, is almost impossible to see exactly that phrase, which is directed specifically. And have to constantly stop and browse the text to find the needed.

In addition, the constant sound of the chat is also very distracting from the game.

Tutorial how to say bye bye to chat and its sound:
1.Replace chat sound (1.04 Patch.gro/Sounds/Menu/Chat.wav) with silence or /gam_fChatSoundVolume=0
2./con_iLastLines=0
3./con_tmLastLines=0
Presto,you have silence,no spam and no "poured lead into,etc" messages.

Yet I played alone with the other guy, there were no others, and I was teaching him stuff. Most players do want to use chat sometimes, there shouldn't be an automatic ban for it. Automatic ban needs to be for the situations of real spam, not chatting players. To me and 95% of other players this is simply wrong. Would Ostap or you consider it if we'd make a poll about it? I guess this is almost useless since he didn't care last 6 years but trying is good I guess...

I need to add: Graphx is not on banned players list, he was banned ages ago, but somehow sambot still keeps him banned. This is why most bans need to be avoided, somehow Sambot can keep you banned many days, maybe forever, even if you got banned for like 5 minutes... This was the case years ago and it seems it's still now.

I hope Ostap would see this and take it into account, even while I'm a "GZ player", I care about this game and it's players, and I'm not against you, but you have the chance to fix these problems. However if you just don't care because of your personal hate against GZ, it servers nobody, not the players nor you.

Can this "spam ban" be removed or at least time decreased? 30 min again and I was just normal talking with some other player.. never liked this spam ban, always spoke against it.. You should make sambot see if someone spams the same word many times in a minute, and have them banned, not ban normal talking players.

I totally understand Sakke and 100 % for his point of view, but I also understand ZIP - players who only talk (like Tankist in the past, another crazy Ukrainian guy Kakuzu and some others) are / were annoying as hell. In the past, when Sam was really active, I used to critize some players who prefered to talk instead of playing most of time. Sakke is not like that, he talks less than me imo, and as he told, they were only two on a server ... Talking can't be a reason of ban. Are we in North Korea or ? Seriously, only pressing arrow and spamming the same words again and again can be a reason for bans like that (just like binding spam). The time between messages which cause autoban should be prolonged. The ban should be given for like 2+ messages per a second. If it's like 1 message per 1 second, it's okay and ban shouldn't be applied.

Just trying to give an advices, not critizing another admins.

This would indeed be the best solution, I hope this could be applied to all servers, and Ostap would consider it. Sambot is a great tool for controlling the servers without a doubt, but it needs to be set up properly, changes should be made.

Players talking way too much should be dealt with sambot, but the time between the messages that results in a ban now, needs to be increased.

Just add "ot vashish ne vi" and "from from you not to you" to spam ban priorities lol
