    N1, but 999?

Windows 8 is somehow "faster", but it's designed for tablets and low support for old stuff.

hey , nice rig , i also use a radeon and a cooler master but both 2 years old , mine is a "coal "powered machine [ think it uses steam ]
its only 2 core 1.87 hz with two gig of ram , but it runs ok for now , i tried win 8 [beta] but went back to win 7
but every version seems better ,,,,,,,,, i loved dos [before windows was ever invented ], i used a "overlay " called "quikmenu " yo make auto start icons for dos
then came .... win 3.1 , [very basic] , then, hmmmm win 95 was cool, until win 98 came along , then win 98 SE ruled i wny mention win me or vista [ we all know why ,lol ]
    then finally win 7
yeah im old , [i can even remember the day windows bought out dos ,lol]

    catch ya

but for Windows 8, they have removed the start menu to put they tabled interface, this sucks as hell, I don't need this I need a classic start menu -.-
And the website where I purchased my computer, installed me windows 8 but didn't gave me the product key and restauration CD (they have forgotten it, because it was supposed to be included in the command) so i have many functions blocked for now. I've sent an email to them but I doubt i'll have an answer before monday.
