Hello all

The server starts.
Connect to it from the same computer.

=> Ping game ~100ms


Where there may be a bug?

try removing "net_strLocalHost" parameter if you've configured it as external IP
if this parameter is not specified - server will use all available IPs ....

then connect using local IP ... - this should remove some network overhead you would have otherwise when using external IP

the server starts "by default"
adjusted only file "init" in the folder "Scripts\Dedicated", to start the whole game mode frag-match

IP "grey", without access to the Internet (only local)



P.S. And yet the console shows gibberish in the window..... зараза...

try adding "Loopback Adapter" to your network

(control panel => Add hardware => select from the list => Network adapter => Microsoft Loopback Adapter.....)


this will create fake network adapter on your computer that could be configured with any IP ... (192.168.0.7 for example ....)
also - once its configured - server will listen on that IP ...so you can use it to connect via local network ....thus avoiding connection via external IP that would ..(might) ...give some lag...
