Hi everyone who reads my post! I'd like to share something with all members of the forum.
Small introduction from me

Our greatly respected Demitry >JD<, has created some miracle for Serious Sam First Encounter.
Namely, now you can play with HD textures using old classic Sam.

There is an expression:
"Why pay more"...i would say: why spend computer resources? And play HD Sam, when you can just download "NOT HD Update" and you'll get practically same result!
My self - I'm happy and stunned by this invention, because it is classic Sam but with such changes that any fan of Serious Sam First Encounter would love.

I'll post info about update here. Once more great thanks for Dimitry, for his diligence, perseverance and miracles that he sometime makes! Thank you Dimitry)))

IMPORTANT!
Current version was created specifically for clan “Rus Bandits”.
Update were tested on public servers, during the game there were no errors or crashes.
Though there is no warranty that all will work perfectly.
I would advise to make a copy of your existing game before proceeding, because you may damage your installation and wont be able to use it afterwards and might have to re-install it.

I do hope there wont be any complications and you'll get desired satisfaction from the game. =)

DESCRIPTION AND INSTALLATION:

1) What is “NOT HD”, and how do you eat it?

“NOT HD” – is adaptation of textures (as well few player models) from Serious Sam HD into Classic Serious Sam First Encounter

2) Installation
To install - simply extract files from archive and copy them to your game installation (overwriting files when prompted).
If you'll get message about missing d3d9_26.dll after switching to Direct3D

2) ENB Series – super graphis.
ENBseries – is a separate module that is included with “Not HD” update.
It adds effect of «Blurry light» with sort of look-alike HDR effect that visually recreates reaction of human eye on bright light.
But it only works with Direct3D ...not OpenGL...

To select correct render engine do the following:
Go to Optons -> Video Options and change setting accordingly:

As an extra option - you can switch ON/OF ENB module inside the game by pressing “Shift + F12”

I'd like to assure you that even on old PCs this update with ENBseries should't be slow (not even talking about playing without ENB )
Enjoy and do not worry if it gets slow =)

4) Music Update.

All music included in update - is a compilation of amazing, popular and loved by everyone composers like: Hanz Zimmer, Trevor Rabin, Brian Taylor, “Two steps from hell” and others.
Feel your self a real action hero who run to save the world.

if anyone got problems with d3d9_26.dll after switching to Direct3D (i've on windows 7 64bit...somehow there were no older files present)

Music supplied with this packages did not play
so i've converted it to .ogg format and repackaged the whole thing...

if you hear no music - just download new one...
