Advanced Monster & Item Classes is a new version of the extended class library for Serious Sam: The Second Encounter, which opens up new opportunities for mappers and mod creators and convenient access to fine-tuning various parameters of game objects and characters. Thanks to this separate plug-in DLL, you can easily create non-standard gameplay elements in your map or mod, be it new types of opponents, first-aid kits or ammunition. You can also radically change the appearance of game objects, turning your map or mod into a unique and unlike any other creation, without interfering with the code of the main game and rewriting other libraries. Advanced Monster & Item Classes is an extremely useful modding tool that will make life easier for any mapper, speed up the map creation process and allow you to create interesting, intense and exciting projects.

Features:

  1. Independently pluggable library that does not require replacing any files of the original game - just place the folders with the DLL file and modified classes in the root directory of Sam or your mod and start editing. This method is useful for creating a standalone map with completely new features, without having to allocate a separate mod for the project.
  2. Convenience and a wide range of settings for each class will make it easy to deal with changing a variety of parameters for both an experienced mapper, and even the most deaf newbie who has just met the game editor. You can see all the new features of the classes at the very top of the list of the mutable entity. Adjusting the values ​​is quick and intuitive.
  3. Wide customization of enemy classes. Now you can create an almost completely new enemy for your map or mod without leaving the editor window. And not just one opponent. A huge number of new customization parameters for most enemies will allow you to change the usual creatures beyond recognition: assign them a new model or texture, specify a new type of attack, adjust the parameters of damage, damage, blood display time, number of body parts, add great visual and gameplay effects, etc. All this will help you to make truly unique enemies ... and not only ...
  4. One of the most interesting features of the library is the ability to create separate opposing groups of opponents. It is enough to specify a single parameter in the settings of the enemies, and you can witness a cool battle between Mental's henchmen and the player himself. And if this does not seem enough to you, then you can create a group of monsters friendly towards the player who will fight on your side against their own kindred! Believe me, you can enjoy such a spectacle all day long.
  5. In addition to detailed customization of opponents, the library allows an equally simple and useful change in various items, which will allow you to change the appearance and functionality of cartridges, first-aid kits and armor. Now, in two clicks, you can turn the first-aid kit into, for example, a bottle of vodka or a model of an apple, or change the annoying sound of the ammunition being picked up to your own, or cunningly put a poisoned potion on the player instead of restoring the health of the potion, which removes the specified part of the health points, etc.
