Server rules & ban times

All servers from the 42Amsterdam domain (including private servers) are subject to the following rules regardless of the game and their gameplay settings:


All servers rules


Do not insult players or administrators
Do not send offensive messages

sex related messages
threatening or harassement
race, religion or politic related messages


No cheating!

any game modification that is not a player skin, map or major bug fix is not allowed and severely repressed
using exploits and glitches such as ground swimming or going out of the map (Auto kick by SAM-BOT)
intended usage of the double kill respawn bug is also considered an exploit


No F9 abuse

pressing F9 repeatedly to avoid getting killed or resetting the score


No AFKing (Auto kick by SAM-BOT)

COOP servers 45 min
FRAG servers 20 min


No console spamming (Auto kick by SAM-BOT)

quick messages and multiple line bindings


No identity stealing

pretending to be another player by copying/stealing his name tag or clan tag
unothorized usage of clan tags from players that are not members of those


No teaming

teaming is fundamentally not a game violation but cannot be tolerated due to the low amount of players in the servers. Stay fair!


Camping, spawn kill, type kill, no gun kill are not game violations but anti-game behaviors are and may be sanctioned

camping singularly in server on places that are particularly difficult of reach
intended spawn killing players and not leaving them any chance to move

Do not abuse friendly fire
All servers rules do apply here!


Specific servers rules


Those servers are set beforehand with target gameplay settings thus you should be fine if you apply the All servers rules



Breaking the rules will result in penalties:

:excl: Being given two or many bans in a row within a short time will get you to the Scale 2 sanction (see table below).
:excl: Admin may decide to dirrectly apply a Scale 2 sanction depending the gravity of the rule violation.
:excl: If you are a notorious community player caught cheating, you will receive a level S ban.

Articles 5 and 6 are subject to an auto kick by SAM-BOT
Article 9 is subject to a manual kick and the removal of the player statistics
Articles 1, 2, 4, 7 and 8 are subject to a level 2 ban
Article 3 is subject to a level 3 ban (or level S ban - see details above)
Attempting to hack the servers is subject to a permaban

Penalty updates:

- Ban times have been adjusted to match the system options (2 days becomes 3 days, 2 hours becomes 3 hours)
- Level 2 ban does no longer evolve into level 3 ban - will stack 4th sanction everytime the player misbehaves before the end of the cooldown
- Level 3 ban does no longer evolve into permaban - same as for Level 2 so Level 3 is exclusively reserved for cheaters

So ban times gets nerfed once new, but that doesn't mean the servers can become an anarchy fest. Admins will be here and looking to protect the player's gaming experience on the servers.

I'm personally - would like to suggest severity of an infraction

1 - cheat "A"- (1....x)
2 - cheat "B"- (1....x)
3 - cheat "C"- (1....x)
4 - personal insult (1...x)
5 - family members insult (1.....x)
6 - insulting Trump (1....x)
7 - insulting Putin (1...x)
8 - insulting Biden (0...0)
etc......

and according to the severity - select a different level of actions

As well - some of the insults should not be even taken in consideration !!!

for example "i'll get you motherf**er" - is just part of the game
but "I f***d your mother" - is a direct insult !!! and should never be tollerated (its not America here ...where jocks about mother are funny)

rules and penalties has to be the simpliest possible, so people knows but also remembers easly. If we start to add a specific penalty for every single little thing the rules are going to make 30 pages and nobody wants that

Cheating is cheating and must be punished regardless of what cheat is it.

Of course by insulting we mean attacking someone personally and not throwing bad talk randomly. Banning people for trashtalking may be counter productive so we have to be patient and benevolent with players - applying a penalty only if they do not cooperate.

Exceeding level 3 ban 4th sanction gives permaban once new.

Notorious community players caught cheating (being forums or known clan members) will dirrectly receive 1 month ban - and ARE eligible to permaban if they cheat again afterwards.
