Hello,

I hosted a Serious Sam since 4 years in 1.05 and the last days the Server got crashed by FakeClients.
I know that the Solution is patching the Game to 1.07, so it cant be crashed.

But we are thinking about , to stay on 1.05.
But a Friend told me that the Hacker cant crash your Adams Server in 1.05, they are safe of hacks.
I read its called a Fake Client (Client Flooding) or something, so my question is can you share that Safe Script from your Adams
Server? It will be very helpful because that guys is it crashing all the time and the last players in 1.05 have to leave.

Please help me out with anything.

Are you running one of the FUNFUN ripoff servers? If so, fix your admins first.

me also not super god with feathers sticking out my head ...
but
there is mod for 1.05 ...with fake client check ..."antibug v3"
its located in exchange folder ...inside /tools ... named 1.05AntiBugs22082009.rar

hackers can crash 42 servers ...:) nothing is perfect ...

Fake client check will not help you much if someone is attacking your server
1.05 has a bug ... just reboot the server...

on 42 there is automatic firewall ban ... if attack is detected ...
that only prevents from secondary attempt ...
